You don’t have to hunt down where “that” setting since the setting you are looking for is in the section of what you are trying to adjust, not hidden in another menu. Also I like the fact that all of the smart home things are on one page. But that’s where the good ends. Too much wasted white space!
Why can’t I customize the order and layout of my devices??? Why can’t I add more devices to the quick settings at the top? Where’s dark mode? Perhaps have the option for it to auto adjust when I’m in a dark room.

I am turning off the lights using the app so I don’t appreciate the super white background at night. Perhaps allow me to chose my own wallpaper. You know like apple does in home kit? Over all I really feel like google needs a massive overhaul in their UI Department. I do appreciate the hard work that was put in to make the app better.but, google needs to stop going half way on all their apps. I always feel like their apps “get the job done” but always feel like “it’s missing blah blah and blah”.
Google should stop spending time trying to copy the notch on apples devices and apply that same enthusiasm to “copying” apples home kit. That app is nearly perfect. That’s just my opinion. Jonathan Urena, As always half way.
